How To Apply Concrete Driveway Sealer
Sealing a concrete driveway doesn’t have to be a hard, or even an expensive project. When using the correct concrete sealer, you can effectively seal your driveway for years.
When it comes to sealing a concrete driveway, you have a few choices. You can use a penetrating water repellent sealer (as shown in the video), or you can opt for a coating. A coating will enhance the look of the concrete with a color, or clear satin or high gloss. Materials Needed:
- 3/8-1/2″ shedless nap roller
- Armor SX5000 Concrete Sealer
Step 1: Make sure the concrete is clean and free of any paints, stains, coatings, sealers or other contaminants.
Step 2: Thoroughly clean the surface and let dry completely.
Step 3: Using a roller, apply 2 back to back coats to the surface of the driveway.
Step 4: Let dry.
